We are seeking two Board-Certified Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) to join our new CaroMont Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine clinic in Shelby, located within our Shelby Family Medicine clinic.
Position Highlights- Practice in our well-equipped facilities with access to CaroMont's extensive resources and network.
- In-house X-ray capability and onsite laboratory
- Split or rotating coverage between Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine services
- 8:00 am -7:30 pm/ 7 days per week; 2-week rotating schedule
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat approximately 4 patients per hour with a wide range of urgent and non-emergent conditions
- Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and other urgent care services
- Deliver occupational medicine services, including injury care and physicals
- Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
- Provide education on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Document all encounters accurately and timely in EPIC
Requirements - Master's or Doctoral degree from accredited NP or PA program
- Board Certified FNP or PA-C
- Active NC License & DEA and ActiveSC License & DEA
- BLS/ACLS certification
- DOT certification required
