Opportunity Information

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Pain Management team in Yuba City, California.

 

Join an established practice dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. The APC will work collaboratively with a board-certified Pain Management physician to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

The APC will provide care for patients with a variety of pain-related conditions, including:

  • Chronic neck and back pain
  • Musculoskeletal pain syndromes
  • Neuropathic pain conditions
  • Spine-related disorders
  • Complex chronic pain management

Duties include:

  • New and return patient evaluations
  • Ongoing management of chronic pain patients
  • Pre- and post-procedure visits
  • Medication management and monitoring
  • Patient education and care coordination
  • Development of treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
  • Participation in quality and access improvement initiatives
Qualifications
