POSITION SUMMARYMedNOW Clinics is seeking a skilled and compassionate NursePractitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our patient-centered teamin Thornton, Colorado. We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish)professional to support our diverse patient population and ensure clear,effective communication.
In this role, you'll provide high-quality, comprehensivecare to patients of all ages while working collaboratively with ourmultidisciplinary team of physicians, clinicians, and support staff. You'llhave the opportunity to make a lasting impact on patient outcomes throughpreventive care, chronic disease management, and health education - all whilemaintaining the flexibility and autonomy of an outpatient setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide direct patient care, including health histories, physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
- Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies; prescribe and manage medications within scope.
- Educate patients about conditions, medications, preventive care, and lifestyle management.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and colleagues for complex or specialized cases.
- Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
- Utilize MedNOW's multimodal care model, including referrals for behavioral health, physical therapy, and nutrition services.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and coding in Athena EHR.
- Stay current with medical advancements through continued education and training.
Scope of Work- Complete and close documentation within 48 hours of patient encounter.
- Model professionalism, integrity, and teamwork across all clinic operations.
- Maintain current licensure, DEA registration, board certification, and credentialing requirements.
- Develop individualized care plans that reflect patients' cultural, psychological, and social needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Current and unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license and furnishing number
- Current DEA license
- Current BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Strong understanding of chronic care and preventive medicine
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
