Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in cardiology outpatient clinics
  • Perform evaluations and management for new and follow-up patients
  • Round at Tawas Hospital in the mornings
  • Work primarily in Oscoda Ambulatory Clinic
  • Cover weekends approximately 6 times a year in Saginaw
  • Participate in holiday coverage approximately 1 time every 2 years

Summary

MyMichigan Medical Center has an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our northern Cardiology Team in Tawas.

Provide cardiology outpatient services in our clinics:
  • Main locations: Tawas and Oscoda
    • Standish will be added
  • Tawas Hospital rounding in the morning then normally working in the Oscoda Ambulatory Clinic
  • Weekend coverage in Saginaw required - approximately 6 weekends per year
  • Holiday coverage in Saginaw required - approximately 1 holiday every 2 years
  • flexibility in going to other locations if needed
  • Full-time, dayshift
  • Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

Direct patient care in office, including evaluation and management for new and follow-up patients.

Certifications and Licensures

  • AHA approved BLS Certification
  • AHA approved ACLS Certification

Required Education

  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Experience preferred, new grads will be considered
