Master of Science degree or higher from an accredited program
Active Maryland nursing license and Nurse Practitioner certification
Experience in neurology is essential
Orthopedic experience considered a plus
Strong background in clinical data interpretation
Responsibilities
Interview patients for health history and conduct physical examinations
Order and assess diagnostic and laboratory tests
Document health and physical assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans
Coordinate patient care and communicate between patients and physicians
Provide care in both clinic and hospital settings

Schedule & Compensation:
This is a Fulltime opportunity Monday-Friday floating between Essex, North Howard (Baltimore), Hyattsville, Catonsville, and Glen Burnie locations.
Compensation is anywhere between $120k-$150k per year commensurate with experience and education.
General Summary of Position
The NP role includes examination, evaluation, assessment and interpretation of clinical data to provide care for patients with podiatric concerns and complex wound management. Professional practice is in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Interview patients for health history and perform physical examination
Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests
Document H & P, progress notes, and treatment plans
Act as liaison between patients and physicians to coordinate recommended patient care as well as pre- and post-operative care
Caring for patients in both the clinic and hospital setting
Participate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement meetings
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training -Master of Science degree or higher, with completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program
License/Certification - Registered and currently recorded with the Maryland Board of Nursing, and certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialization
Orthopedic experience is a plus
Neurology experience is needed
