We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversee the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on the Medical/Telemetry/Stroke - North 6 unit. In this role, you will lead daily nursing operations, support your team, manage resources, and help ensure exceptional patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational standards.

Reporting to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager has 24-hour responsibility for the delivery of professional nursing care and the effective allocation of human, fiscal, and operational resources. You will play a key role in ensuring appropriate staffing and skill mix, as well as the availability of equipment and supplies needed to meet the needs of the patient population.

What You'll Do

• Provide leadership and oversight for the delivery of safe, effective, high-quality professional nursing care.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix to meet patient care needs.
• Manage human and fiscal resources effectively and responsibly.
• Ensure nursing teams have the equipment, supplies, and other resources necessary to provide quality patient care.
• Monitor and support quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
• Promote a positive, collaborative environment for nurses and other members of the healthcare team.
• Work collaboratively with patients, families and significant others, medical staff, hospital administration, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accountability for the quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care.
• Serve as an Administrative Supervisor as needed, supporting clinical operations across the organization.
• In the absence of the Administrator On Call (AOC), assume responsibility as Incident Commander during an emergency until the AOC arrives onsite and assumes responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, organizational, and other sensitive information.
• Support organizational policies, procedures, standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of five years of leadership experience required.
• Demonstrated experience leading nursing teams and managing clinical operations, resources, and patient care delivery.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Certification in a clinical specialty preferred.
