The H50 Colorectal Surgery unit is part of Cleveland Clinic's Digestive Disease Institute, where surgeons perform more than 5,000 surgical procedures annually. Working with 16 colorectal surgeons, our dedicated and highly engaged nursing staff is focused on providing world-class medical and surgical care to patients with medical problems such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer and genetic bowel disease. As Nurse Manager, you will manage and deliver exceptional nursing care to patients. You will use your extensive knowledge and skills to supervise and provide clinical direction to maintain and ensure quality outcomes. A caregiver in this position works days with flexible hours between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Three years of recent nursing clinical experience with at least one year of healthcare management experience
High degree of clinical expertise in specialty area managed
Demonstrated leadership, management, communication, counseling, problems solving, decision making, conflict resolution and group process skills
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master's Degree in Nursing
Two years healthcare management experience
Physical Requirements:
Requires full range of motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye and hand coordination.
Requires frequent data entry, sitting, standing and walking.
Requires corrective vision and hearing to normal range.
Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Personal Protective Equipment:
