Job Title: Nurse Manager - Detox & Rehab Inpatient Unit

Position Summary
The Nurse Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership, administrative oversight, and staff supervision to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing detox and addiction treatment. This role combines strong leadership with hands-on clinical expertise to guide a multidisciplinary team in delivering evidence-based substance use care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Detox & Rehab Unit.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing and ancillary staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in addiction care.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, CARF, or state licensing).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, counselors, and case managers to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor quality of care, patient outcomes, and documentation standards.
- Facilitate staff education, onboarding, and ongoing competency training.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, audits, and policy development.
- Promote a therapeutic, safe, and recovery-focused environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in substance use treatment or behavioral health.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of detoxification protocols, rehabilitation programs, and evidence-based substance use treatment.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-acuity patients and crisis situations with professionalism and calm.

Our Detox & Rehab Unit provides 24/7 inpatient care for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. The program focuses on medical detoxification, stabilization, individualized therapy, and transitional care planning, ensuring patients receive comprehensive, compassionate care throughout their recovery journey.
