Job Title: Nurse Manager - Detox & Rehab Inpatient Unit

Location: Twin Rivers -Melbourne, FL
Department: Nursing Services
Reports To: Chief Nursing Officer

Position Summary

The Nurse Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership, administrative oversight, and staff supervision to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing detox and addiction treatment. This role combines strong leadership with hands-on clinical expertise to guide a multidisciplinary team in delivering evidence-based substance use care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Detox & Rehab Unit.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing and ancillary staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in addiction care.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, CARF, or state licensing).
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, counselors, and case managers to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor quality of care, patient outcomes, and documentation standards.
  • Facilitate staff education, onboarding, and ongoing competency training.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, audits, and policy development.
  • Promote a therapeutic, safe, and recovery-focused environment for patients and staff.
