Hiring Salary Range: $81,926-$100,359. The maximum pay for this position is $118,792.
The Nurse Home Visiting Nurse Supervisor is responsible for performing professional administrative and supervisory work in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of both the Nurse Family Partnership and Family Connects programs. The Nurse Supervisor provides population-based nursing services with the goal of promoting health and preventing disease.
This role offers excellent schedule stability and high day-to-day autonomy to guide program operations and mentor your team.

Essential FunctionsAdministrative Leadership (15%)
- Oversee grant deliverables, program fidelity, policies, and budgets for NFP and Family Connects.
- Manage data collection systems (NFP and Family Connects) and analyze metrics to drive continuous quality improvement.
- Utilize data on social determinants of health to inform policies and address community care needs.
Supervision of Team (35%)
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate professional nursing and paraprofessional staff.
- Provide reflective clinical practice, support team culture, and navigate conflict resolution.
- Foster professional development goals to ensure team members are well-trained and fulfilled.
Programmatic Delivery (20%)
- Coordinate NFP and Family Connects programs in accordance with contract guidelines and established standards.
- Conduct field joint visits, provide regular clinical supervision, assign caseloads, and lead case conferences.
- Lead community coalitions/advisory boards, manage program outreach, and collaborate with partners to address health access disparities.
Public Health Nurse (15%)
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and treat all participants with equal respect, compassion, and empathy.
- Coordinate public health clinics, support immunization efforts, and disseminate culturally adapted health info.
- Respond to public health emergencies and perform Emergency Support Functions (ESF-8) when requested.
Provides Strategic Leadership (10%)
- Drive departmental visioning using open communication, motivational interviewing, and creative problem-solving.
- Represent Eagle County Public Health in state and federal meetings and serve as a community liaison for program policies.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing activities alongside outside agencies and service providers.

Other Duties as Assigned (5%)
- Observe safety and security procedures and demonstrate Eagle County Government mission and core values.
- Assist with Emergency Operations Center (EOC) support roles during emergency activations as directed.
QualificationsEducation, Experience, Licensure, Certification, or Registration:- Required Licensure: Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Colorado
- Required Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university required
- Preferred Education: Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Nursing or a closely related field preferred.
- Experience: Two years of experience in maternal/child health, public health, home visiting or mental/behavioral nursing preferred OR any equivalent combination of training and experience that meet the needs of the position.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the State or Colorado is required. Nurses with compact licensure must meet all licensure requirements set forth by the Colorado Board of Nursing within ninety (90) days of employment.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required.
