Full Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Nurse Education and Special Projects Administrator will focus on community outreach,
nurse engagement, clinical workflow process/throughput and nursing education. The
incumbent will assist with special projects and initiatives for the nursing staff, overseeing
clinical practice components of nurse education and training programs.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement educational programs tailored to the needs of nursing staff, including
orientation, in-service training, and continuing education. Conducts regular assessments to
identify educational needs and competency gaps within the nursing team. Collaborate with
healthcare professionals, department managers, and administrative staff to ensure that
initiatives align with hospital policies and procedures. Serves as a clinical resource for nursing
staff, providing expert advice and guidance on best practices in nursing care. Maintains
accurate records of educational activities and evaluate program effectiveness through
feedback surveys and other metrics. Builds pipeline of prospective candidates through
community networks and targeted outreach events. Designs and implements strategic
initiatives to improve the engagement of the nursing staff.
