North America Digital Infrastructure Business Development LeaderAon is seeking a dynamic and market-facing Digital Infrastructure Business Development Leader to help accelerate growth across our Digital Infrastructure business in North America. This role will partner closely with the North America Digital Infrastructure Practice Leader to execute Aon's growth strategy across both Risk Capital and Human Capital solutions for clients operating throughout the digital infrastructure ecosystem.
The successful candidate will serve as a connector, catalyst, and subject matter resource for Aon's community of Producers, Account Executives, and industry leaders, helping drive client acquisition, revenue growth, cross-solution collaboration, and market visibility. This leader will play a critical role in expanding Aon's presence within the rapidly evolving data center and digital infrastructure marketplace

What the day will look likeGrowth and Business Development
- Partner with the Digital Infrastructure Practice Leader to identify emerging market opportunities, evolving client needs, and strategic growth priorities across the digital infrastructure ecosystem, while developing and executing business development strategies designed to increase revenue, market share, and client penetration across the North American market.
- Support strategic pursuits by coordinating resources, engaging subject matter experts, and assisting client teams in developing compelling value propositions.
- Collaborate with regional and market leaders to prioritize opportunities and drive pursuit activity across target accounts and prospects.
- Help position Aon as the advisor of choice across the digital infrastructure lifecycle, from planning and construction through operations and ongoing risk management, by identifying emerging client needs and helping develop scalable solutions and go-to-market strategies that strengthen Aon's market differentiation and drive growth.
Community Leadership and Enablement
- Assist the Practice Leader in building, maintaining, and activating Aon's Digital Infrastructure community.
- Foster collaboration among Producers, Account Executives, industry leaders, and solution specialists.
- Lead or support strategic initiatives designed to improve practice performance, enhance collaboration, and drive long-term growth.
- Promote the sharing of client success stories, market intelligence, best practices, and innovative solutions across the organization.
- Help establish consistent engagement and communication across stakeholders supporting the digital infrastructure sector.
Market Expertise and Thought Leadership
- Maintain a deep understanding of trends, risks, opportunities, and emerging developments impacting digital infrastructure clients, including data centers, cloud infrastructure providers, telecommunications operators, and related ecosystem participants.
- Serve as a resource to client-facing colleagues regarding industry dynamics, market developments, and Aon capabilities.
- Partner with marketing and business leaders to support thought leadership initiatives, client events, industry conferences, and market-facing activities.
- Assist in developing sales materials, presentations, industry insights, and business development resources.
Client and Team Support
- Support Producers and Account Executives in the identification, development and expansion of client relationships.
- Facilitate collaboration across Risk Capital and Human Capital teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Coordinate with industry, solution line, and geographic leaders to align growth strategies and business development activities.
- Contribute to strategic account planning and opportunity management processes.
- Monitor business development activity and pipeline progress, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.

- 10+ years of experience in the digital infrastructure, data center, commercial risk, insurance brokerage, consulting, construction, real estate, technology, telecommunications, or related industries.
- Demonstrated business development, sales leadership, client management, or industry leadership experience.
- Proven ability to influence and lead through collaboration in a matrixed organization.
- Experience working with large, complex client organizations and cross-functional teams.

- Strong understanding of the digital infrastructure ecosystem, including data center development, operations, and associated risk and workforce challenges.

Pay Transparency Laws:The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $108,600 to $170,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
