New graduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/ Outpatient clinic/Full-Time Employment /The Villages,FL

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or newly certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Active Florida APRN license and national board certification required.
• Preferred experience in an outpatient setting, though not mandatory.
• Strong interest in psychiatric care and medication management for all ages.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical documentation skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for various mental health conditions.
• Administer Long-Acting Injectables (LAIs) as needed, a less common service in many clinics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Document services rendered in compliance with company policies.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay current in psychiatry.
