This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

Position Summary

Join the New Glenn Responsive Analysis for Proposals, Integration and Development (RAPID) team, a small but dynamic group whose mission is to support early business capture by providing accurate and right-sized analysis to customers. As an New Business Mission Integrator, you will be responsible for leading technical discussions with customers and stakeholders, identifying mission-unique needs, proposal writing, and cross-team collaboration. This technical role requires vehicle compatibility assessments, and requirements reviews in order to deliver the full range of products required for each mission, study, or proposal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Engage daily with the sales and customer teams. Support customer technical interchange meetings, system reviews, early mission designs. Provide technical guidance to internal RAPID team and external stakeholders.
  • Requirements Assessment: Ensure vehicle-to-payload compatibility and identify mission-unique requirements where standard solutions don't apply. Translate customer needs into feasible New Glenn architectures
  • Proposal Support: Lead proposal and study writing efforts, Basis of Estimate (BOE) development, including technical baseline setting and documentation for proposals, RFIs, and studies
  • Tool Development: Create and maintain analysis tools to enable quick-turn mission assessments
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively with sales, mission management, and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive solutions

The Mission Integrator leads technical baseline setting, documentation development, and tool creation to enable rapid analysis in support of early engineering studies and business development activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of current technical hands-on experience (5+ years preferred)
  • Expertise in at least one of the following areas: Analysis and modeling, design engineering, integrated testing, systems engineering, mission Integration
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles with ability to build and maintain professional relationships with external clients and stakeholders
  • Proven track record of producing accurate, high-quality deliverables with minimal errors, particularly in customer-facing documentation and analysis
  • Ability to maintain high performance standards and meet critical deadlines in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
  • Strong commitment to first-time-right delivery with understanding that external work products directly impact company reputation and business outcomes
  • Strong coordination and collaboration skills across multiple technical disciplines to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Proven ability to multi-task and maintain quality standards while executing work efficiently on parallel, time-sensitive projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer presentations and technical documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams under compressed schedules
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent Blue Origin's technical capabilities to customers and industry partners

Preferred Qualifications
  • Mission Integration experience as either spacecraft/payload customer or launch service provider
  • Spacecraft/payload integration and processing experience
  • Launch vehicle to spacecraft/payload compatibility assessment experience
  • Knowledge of current systems engineering and test/integration tools and methodologies
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)


Base Pay Range for:
CO applicants is $110,938.00 - $155,312.85WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20
