Job Description

This is a dual posting with job ID 60050. One opening available. The final title will depend on the qualifications of the final candidate.

The School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Specialty Care to work with our Alzheimer and Dementia patients. This position will provide vital clinical support for the MU Department of Neurology & the Dementia Infusion Program.

• Mon - Friday Schedule with no call or weekends
• Collaborative team of neurologists, residents, fellows and support staff

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide independent and collaborative care for dementia and Alzheimer patients in an outpatient setting
• Communicate with physicians regarding clinical changes, diagnostic results, and symptomatology
• Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes
• Perform treatments and interventions, as indicated
• Educate patients and families, and facilitate clinical research
• Utilize basic computer skills, problem-solving abilities, and adapt to varied work settings

Minimum Qualifications

Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually
Grade: PAT - 013
University Title: PHYS AST SPEC CARE II
