Full Job Description
In this role, you will report to IT Network Operations Manager

You will:
  • Leadership: Manage a high-performing, inclusive team of engineers, technical professionals, and vendor agents. Design and implement overarching business plans, long-term strategic initiatives, and roadmaps to continue organizational growth and prosperity.
  • Incident Management: Act as an Owner during major service disruptions, managing the end-to-end remediation of high-severity events and Tier 2/3 escalations. Evolve the incident framework into an advanced ITIL-aligned methodology, prioritizing root-cause analysis, trend identification, and post-incident reviews (PIRs) to eliminate chronic or repetitive network issues.
  • ITIL Governance: Oversee the full lifecycle of technology infrastructure services (incident, change, event, configuration, and asset management). Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuous process improvement models to ensure reliable, repeatable service levels.
  • Deployment Support: Validate and implement MOPs (Methods of Procedure) for internal teams and implementation partners. Oversee the deployment and maintenance of firewalls, switches, access points, UPS, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Technical Operations: Provide technical leadership during complex network event correlation, architectural improvement validations, and the review of site-specific Engineering Design Plans (EDPs). Support the secure deployment, maintenance, and upgrade lifecycle of critical production infrastructure (firewalls, switches, access points, UPS, etc).
  • Automation & Innovation: Guide the transition from legacy, manual infrastructure configurations to highly automated network operations. Partner with cross-functional teams to design automation systems, reduce operational toil, and onboard new technologies that drastically optimize MTTR metrics.

You have:
  • 7+ years of experience in network operations or engineering.
  • People Management: 2+ years of experience in a management or team lead role
  • Operational Excellence: Experience managing and delivering strategic networks with high availability requirements
  • Team Building: Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, and building technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of configuring network devices via CLI (console/SSH) and cloud-hosted portals.
  • High-Bandwidth Ops: Experience managing high-performance networks supporting large-scale data ingress/egress (e.g., fleet data offloading) and critical on-premise infrastructure.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for engaging with both technical engineers and business stakeholders.
  • Process Management: Experience in creating documentation, runbooks, and configuration management standards.
  • B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent certifications/experience.

We prefer:
  • Network Automation: Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform, etc.) to streamline operations.
  • BGP & Routing: Practical experience establishing and troubleshooting BGP network peering and complex routing scenarios
