Responsibilities & QualificationsWe are seeking Network Engineer - Tier 3 INE for the COMSEC IT Services contract.
The Tier 3 INE Network Engineer will provide senior network engineering, troubleshooting, integration, modernization, and escalation support for secure COMSEC network environments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- 8+ years of network engineering experience.
- Experience with software-defined networking.
- Experience with cloud networking.
- Experience with AI-driven automation.
- Experience with secure architectures such as Zero Trust.
Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
Certifications
- Security+ certification.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
- Network+ certification.
- CCNA certification.
- CCNP certification.
- CCIE within 6 months of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Type 1 encryption or COMSEC environments.
- Experience with classified enterprise networks.
- Experience supporting 24x7 mission-critical network operations.
- Experience with enterprise network-monitoring tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Tier 3 network engineering support.
- Troubleshoot complex network, connectivity, encryption, and performance issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
- Design, configure, test, and implement network solutions.
- Support secure architecture and Zero Trust implementation.
- Support software-defined networking.
- Support cloud networking technologies.
- Develop and implement automation solutions to improve network operations.
- Support AI-driven network automation where applicable.
- Provide technical escalation support to operations teams.
- Develop configuration standards, technical procedures, and network documentation.Support lifecycle management and modernization of secure networking capabilities.
- Coordinate with Government engineers, cybersecurity teams, and other technical personnel.

WAGE INFORMATION
Target salary range: $150,000 - $210,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
