Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. This position in located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides high-performance, highly available networking services to support business and mission needs.
Responsible for engineering and operational assignments related to deployed solutions backed by Cisco and SolarWinds on multi-level IT systems.
Provides O&M support for networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls, encryption devices, copper/fiber connectivity).
Supports internal escalation tiers for advanced troubleshooting and rapid remediation of networking challenges.
Maintains documentation for networking systems, subsystems, and components, including capacity and performance plans.
Qualifications
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
