Qualifications

• Proven experience with Fortinet firewalls including policy creation and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as subnetting, VLANs, and routing.
• Hands-on experience with Azure including tenant setup and VM deployment.
• Background in systems administration with tools like Active Directory and Intune.
• Passion for continuous learning and cross-domain problem solving.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on end-to-end issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and networking policies.
• Design and implement solutions for subnetting, VLANs, DNS, and port forwarding.
• Create and resolve firewall policies from scratch to address access and security issues.
• Support setup and configuration of Azure hybrid IT environments.
• Collaborate on initiatives requiring networking and cloud skills.
• Assist with DNS requests and address internal/external connectivity issues.
• Document network designs and perform security best practices reviews.
