Job Summary
We are seeking a Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise routing and switching, Cisco networking, firewall and network security, and enterprise wireless networking. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BGP, complex connectivity troubleshooting, firewall configuration and policy management, VPNs and tunnels, and Cisco wireless technologies. Candidates must understand network traffic and packet-level behavior and be capable of diagnosing and resolving complex issues rather than focusing solely on submitting firewall requests or monitoring alerts. A CCNP certification is the minimum expectation, while CCIE is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching environments using Cisco networking technologies.
• Support and troubleshoot BGP, SD-WAN, and other enterprise network connectivity technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues across enterprise network environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, including security policies, rules, VPNs, tunnels, and traffic flows.
• Analyze network packets and traffic behavior to identify and resolve complex routing, firewall, and connectivity issues.
• Support network security operations, including firewall policy management and traffic-level troubleshooting.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and support enterprise wireless networking environments, including Cisco Wireless.
• Apply knowledge of wireless architecture to diagnose and resolve complex wireless connectivity issues beyond basic Wi-Fi support.
• Support and troubleshoot network environments involving Cisco, Versa, Fortinet/FortiGate, Meraki, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to maintain reliable, secure, and efficient enterprise connectivity.
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with enterprise routing and switching.
• Strong Cisco networking experience.
• Hands-on experience with BGP and enterprise network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cisco and/or Versa networking technologies.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls and network security solutions.
• Experience managing firewall policies, rules, VPNs, tunnels, and traffic flows.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues at the packet and traffic level.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless networking, including Cisco Wireless configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
• Strong understanding of wireless architecture and advanced wireless troubleshooting.
• CCNP certification as a minimum expectation.
Preferred Qualifications
• CCIE certification.
• Strong experience with Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls.
• Experience with Versa, SD-WAN, and Meraki technologies.
• Additional experience with Cisco Wireless and enterprise network security technologies.
