Full Job Description
ATEA is adding an experienced Network Engineer to provide direct support to a variety of systems used to support unmanned test assets for high-speed weapon system testing. This customer facing position will implement voice and telemetry networks to support unique mission requirements at various test ranges - ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient data transmission to support real-time analysis, and mission-critical operations across the network infrastructure.

This role will require strong IT & general technical skills to troubleshoot and solve unique networking challenges related to testing programs. Candidate will communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including government customers, and internal stakeholders. Candidates that enjoy working on mission-critical applications and providing a solutions-oriented support will be successful in this position.

Tasking will include:
  • Support full network lifecycle, including design, implementation, maintenance, and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and reliability (for both long term and ad hoc networks)
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
  • Install distributed telemetry data systems across multiple sites, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient data transmission to support real-time analysis, and mission-critical operations across the network infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot existing nets and associated hardware with personnel at ranges throughout the US.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain & maintain a Secret Clearance
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience is required with a preference for experience working network engineering tasks on DoW systems (active duty or reserve experience in a similar role is a plus)
  • Candidate must possess a Security+ (or equivalent) or be ablet to obtain one within 90 Days
