Overview

Acuity is hiring for a Network Engineer to be responsible fordesigning, implementing, andmaintainingsecure enterprise network infrastructure supportingDepartmentof State cloud virtualization services and hosted infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will develop scalable, resilient, and secure network architectures that support mission-critical operations across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments while ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design enterprise networkarchitecturessupporting cloud-hosted and virtualized infrastructure.
  • Develop secure network solutionsutilizingCisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, VMware NSX, SD-WAN, and cloud networking technologies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of enterprise network engineering and architecture experience.
  • Experience supporting federal government or DoD/DOS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, SDN, and cloud networking.
  • Experience with VMware, Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, or similar cloud platforms.

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNP or CCIE
  • VMware VCP-NV
  • Palo Alto PCNSE
  • CISSP
  • AWS or Azure Networking Specialty
  • Security+ CE or higher DoD 8570/8140 certification

Clearance Requirement

  • Active security clearance (Secret or Top Secret)
