We are seeking a driven and strategic Network Development Manager to lead newsite development and asset acquisition throughout British Columbia. Thispivotal role reports directly to the Head of Sales & Operations, DigitalMedia, and plays an essential part in advancing GSL Media's mission to deliverinnovative media infrastructure that aligns with our long-term growth andcommunity engagement objectives.

Position Overview

The Network Development Manager isresponsible for identifying, negotiating, and developing new DOOH assets acrossBritish Columbia - with a focus on Outdoor Digital Billboards and IndoorDigital Displays.

This role requires a strong understanding of provincial and municipalregulations, First Nation partnerships, and real estate negotiations. Thesuccessful candidate will bring both strategic and practical expertise tomanage the full development lifecycle - from site selection and permitting tocontract execution and installation - while ensuring all projects support GSLMedia's operational and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate newbillboard and display opportunities across British Columbia in alignment withGSL Media's network expansion strategy.
  • Negotiate land leases,licenses, and partnership agreements with private property owners, developers,and First Nation communities.
  • Work closely with the Head ofSales & Operations, Digital Media to align development priorities withsales, marketing, and operational initiative.
  • Lead the permitting, design,and approval process in coordination with municipal, regional, and provincialregulatory authorities.
  • Develop and maintain strongrelationships with First Nation governments and economic development offices,ensuring culturally respectful and commercially beneficial outcomes.
  • Conduct due diligence, siteassessments, and feasibility studies for proposed locations.
  • Support project budgeting,forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionallywith internal teams (engineering, operations, and sales) to deliver projects ontime and within budget.
  • Stay informed on emerging DOOHtechnologies, bylaw changes, and industry trends affecting network developmentopportunities.

Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience inoutdoor advertising, real estate development, municipal planning, or mediaasset management
  • Proven track record negotiatingland leases, development agreements, and municipal permits.
  • Deep understanding of BritishColumbia's provincial and municipal sign regulations.
  • Experience collaborating with First Nation partners, including joint venture and land-use negotiations.
  • Excellentrelationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and projectmanagement abilities, with attention to financial and regulatory detail.
  • Post-secondary education inbusiness, real estate, urban planning, marketing, or a related disciplinepreferred.
