Job Title : Oracle PL/SQL Senior Developer

Duration : Full-time

Desired Experience Range : 8 to 10 years

Familiarity with MES systems a must. Must have worked on legacy systems such as Workstream, Solumina or similar ERP/ MES systems
Leadership skills. Being a good leader, listener and mentor with ability to provide advice and feedback, share knowledge, face challenges and handle pressure.
Know the key concepts like procedures, functions, triggers, constraints, package, PL/SQL error handling etc.
Performance Tuning, Data Modeling and Unix Scripting.
Aware about code optimization techniques.
SQL / RDBMS - Relational Database Management Systems
1. Relational Database Concepts
2. Client / Server Concepts.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):
Must-Have
1. Atleast 3 years hands on experience in MES technologies and Oracle PL/SQL. maintenance and performance tuning.
2. Behavioral traits such as right attitude, motivation, taking initiatives, organizational skills and effective time management.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Good-to-Have
5. Being a team player as well as ability to work independently with reliability and integrity.
6. Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships in multi-disciplinary teams with good adaptability, flexibility, and negotiation skills.
7. Experience in ETL environment
8. Knowledge of informatica and/or Visual basic a plus.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

Provide support for production applications per SLA. Provide application support during maintenance windows.
Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications.
