Full Job Description
What You'll Do Day-To-Day
Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at plant sites; may include equipment associated with refueling, inspecting and maintaining nuclear reactors and components.
Conducts routine and non-routine tasks, operates specialized equipment, takes measurements, extracts and compiles data regarding equipment and process performance; collates data on task and outage performance.
Develops calculations, tables, reports and related data; maintains maintenance logs and certification documents.
Develops maintenance procedures, problem reports, field schedules, and task close out reports, as needed.
Participates in planning and executing projects; assists in preparation of proposal and procurement documents.
May provide input to training materials and may conduct training, as needed.
Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.
Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service.
May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites.
May/Will require unescorted nuclear site access.
Technical certifications to be acquired: Tool Technician: Must gain two additional tool technician certs and be an Assistant System Lead for a tool system; Operator: Must acquire two additional operator certs and become a NDE Technician LVL 2 in the primary discipline that is used to acquire data; NDE Technician: Must record all experience gained and become LVL I in at least 2 disciplines and LVL II in 1 discipline; Leadership: Must attend at least one leadership course per year and fill a leadership role.

Salary: $64.00 - $84.00 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
