ResponsibilitiesThis is a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) PositionThe Aircraft Logs and Records Technician II maintains, issues and disposes of aircraft, engine and associated component equipment logs and records, and inventory records including aircraft and engine reports as provided by written instructions. They also process readiness documents, administer the aircraft configuration status accounting program, verify aircraft utilization reports, and processes technical directives. The Clerk complies with all current sections of the NAVAIRINST 3710.1 (series) and CNAFINST 4790.2 (series). The Clerk is also responsible for publishing a monthly 3M maintenance summary for management review.
Qualifications- High school graduate or equivalent. Specialized training courses are desirable.
- Must be able to work any shift.
- Five years USN / USMC / USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge to meet minimum qualifications.
