Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SeniorElectronic Security Project Manager to lead high-profile, multi-site deployments of enterprise access control, video surveillance, perimeter detection, and integrated low-voltage systems. This role is responsible for full project lifecycle leadership-from pre-construction review and material procurement through commissioning, sign-off, and client handover.

The Senior PM directs field leads, technicians, and specialized subcontractors while collaborating closely with sales, systems engineering, and client executive teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to spec.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Ownership & Governance: Drive multiple concurrent large-scale security installations, ensuring rigorous control of scope, milestones, schedules, labor budgets, and profit margins.


  • Field & Subcontractor Leadership: Direct senior/lead technicians, junior field techs, and installation subcontractors; enforce safety protocols, technical quality standards, and code compliance on-site.


  • Technical Oversite & Engineering Integration: Review security engineered drawings, floor plans, riser diagrams, and electrical/civil packages. Coordinate with integration engineers programming ACS, VMS, IDS, and advanced sensing platforms.


  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for clients, general contractors, and corporate stakeholders, leading regular project status meetings and risk mitigation reviews.


  • Financial & Resource Controls: Oversee material staging, bill of materials (BOM), equipment inventories, change orders, red-line as-builts, closeout packages, and subcontractor billing verification.


  • Pre-Sales Collaboration: Partner with estimating and engineering to assist in scoping, bid reviews, and technical proposal development for complex expansions or new client deployments.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in electronic security systems/low-voltage installation, including at least 4-5+ years in a dedicated Project Management role overseeing enterprise-scale projects.


  • Industry Focus: Strong background in enterprise Property Technology (PropTech), commercial facilities, data infrastructure, or industrial electronic security.


  • Technical Platform Knowledge: Hands-on working knowledge of enterprise platforms such as LenelS2, Software House (C CURE), Axis, Verint, Milestone, Commend, DMP, or integrated fire/alarm panels. Factory certifications are a significant plus.


  • Tools & Software: Proficiency with scheduling and PM software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, SimPRO) and core Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).


  • Credentials: PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or ASIS CPP/PSP certification highly preferred.


  • Requirements: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
