Role Descriptions & Responsibilities

We are seeking a results-oriented Indirect Sales/Partner Manager to drive the growth of our SolidWorks Education business across K-12, undergraduate, and postgraduate education. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic channel partners who sell our engineering software solutions that support classroom learning, curriculum integration, capstone and research projects, student competition teams, and industry-recognized certifications. Working as part of the Academic Sales team, the Partner Manager will develop and execute business plans with assigned partners to drive new customer acquisition, expand existing accounts, and maximize customer retention. Success requires building strong relationships with both partner organizations and educational institutions while collaborating closely with technical specialists, marketing, customer success, and other internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a sales professional who thrives in an indirect sales environment, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and is motivated by achieving revenue targets, whether it be through direct or indirect engagements.

Qualifications
• Bachelors in Business, Engineering, Education, or any other relevant majors
• Own a portfolio of assigned channel partners and be accountable for achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Develop and execute joint business plans with partners that include sales objectives, pipeline development, marketing initiatives, and enablement activities.
• Conduct regular business reviews to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and address risks to achieving sales goals.
• Identify opportunities to recruit new customers while expanding software adoption within existing academic accounts.
• Drive new business across K-12, higher education, and postgraduate institutions through partner-led sales activities.
• Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing market conditions and organizational policies.
• Support opportunities involving curriculum adoption, laboratories, capstone projects, research initiatives, student competition teams, and certification programs.
• Work with partners to develop qualified pipelines, accelerate opportunities, and increase win rates.
• Help defend and expand business within existing accounts by strengthening customer relationships and positioning differentiated value against competitors.
• Build trusted relationships with partner sales teams, technical personnel, and key decision-makers within educational institutions.
• Visit partners and customers regularly to identify opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and strengthen long-term relationships.
• Coordinate with technical resources to ensure successful software adoption, customer satisfaction, expansion opportunities, and certification growth.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Technical Specialists, Product Management, and Sales Leadership to deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Navigate internal resources to remove obstacles, support strategic opportunities, and improve partner effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reporting using CRM tools.
• Provide regular updates on partner performance, business opportunities, competitive activity, and market trends.

Compensation & Benefits

Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience. Salary Pay Transparency

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $162000 and $175000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
