Standard Job DescriptionWhat You Will Be DoingManages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Provides immediate supervision to non-exempt employees. Assigns tasks and monitors work. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team. Collaborates internally with subordinates and supervisors at equivalent or slightly higher levels. COMPLEXITY - Works on issues that are process-driven and of limited scope. Directs daily operations of a section and provides assistance to subordinates as needed. Actively participates in daily operations when necessary to meet critical schedules. IMPACT - Responsible for managing and coordinating the efforts of their team, ensuring efficient workflow, providing guidance and support, and achieving collective goals. Decisions are long-lasting and impact the organization. Engages with senior personnel on significant matters. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Ability to work any shift as required, including weekend rotations and overtime.

Basic Qualifications- Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing or production supervisory roles
- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding/experience of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality control systems.
- Leadership & communication: Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively with all levels of management, and foster a collaborative culture
- Organizational skills:- Experience using tools, &/or systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.
- - Experience business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, &/or quality)
Desired Skills- F-35 production experience or familiarity with aircraft assembly processes.
- Experience managing in a union environment, working with Labor Relations and HR teams.
- Knowledge of Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention and First Time Right (FTR) principles.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to support employee development and engagement.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve production issues quickly
- MS Office proficiency, mainly with Teams, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong planning, scheduling, and resource allocation abilities
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00
