This role can be based in various offices on a hybrid basis. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Messaging.

Position Summary

The Mobility Endpoint Services Manager is a hybrid technical and strategic leadership role responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the organization’s mobile ecosystem. This position bridges the gap between Modern Endpoint Management and Telecom Vendor Operations.

The successful candidate will ensure that the global workforce has seamless, secure access to corporate resources while optimizing the costs and services provided by major wireless carriers globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, manages, and optimizes the Microsoft Intune environment for iOS and Android endpoints, including Compliance Policies and Conditional Access aligned to Zero Trust principles
  • Oversees mobile application lifecycle management, including MAM deployment and app protection policies to prevent data leakage
  • Manages automated device enrollment using Apple Business Manager (DEP) and Android Enterprise
  • Serves as Tier III escalation lead for complex mobile device, enrollment, and connectivity issues
  • Defines and maintains mobile hardware standards based on security requirements, platform capabilities, and carrier compatibility
  • Assists in telecom vendor management, acting as the liaison for Verizon, AT&T, and T‑Mobile; conducts quarterly business reviews and enforces SLAs
  • Performs Telecom Expense Management (TEM) by auditing invoices, eliminating unused lines, and optimizing rate plans to control costs
  • Supports enterprise cellular contract negotiations, including hardware subsidies and international roaming agreements globally
  • Produces executive reporting and dashboards covering device compliance, carrier spend versus budget, and device lifecycle status
  • Establishes and operates a mobile security vulnerability management process, including identification, risk assessment, and remediation of OS, application, and carrier‑related vulnerabilities
  • Monitors mobile security advisories from platform vendors and carriers, translating findings into enforceable remediation actions such as OS version requirements, configuration changes, and Conditional Access updates
  • Validates mobile security controls including encryption, jailbreak/root detection, app protection, VPN or Microsoft Tunnel configurations, and certificate‑based authentication
  • Collaborates with Information Security, Legal, and Risk teams during mobile‑related incidents, audits, investigations, and client inquiries, providing accurate device posture and remediation evidence
  • Evaluates emerging mobile technologies and platform roadmaps, recommending adoption, deferral, or exclusion based on security risk, operational value, and enterprise readiness
  • Leads controlled pilots and proofs of concept for new mobile capabilities, with defined success criteria, security review, and executive‑level outcome reporting
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance secure mobile workflows for attorneys, executives, and business users without increasing operational risk or support complexity
  • Fosters a proactive, collaborative support culture that promotes transparency, responsiveness, and continuous improvement
  • Creates and delivers presentations to various audiences
  • Appears on camera for meetings with colleagues and vendors

Qualifications

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in mobile device platforms, including iOS/iPadOS and Android Enterprise, across multiple OS versions
  • Expert knowledge of Intune capabilities, including configuration profiles, compliance policies, Conditional Access, update rings, and enrollment models
  • Working knowledge of mobile networking concepts, including cellular bands, 5G architecture, and mobile VPN/proxy configurations
  • Familiarity with carrier management portals and tools (or equivalent enterprise telecom platforms)
  • Ability to translate technical data into executive‑level reporting, dashboards, and metrics
  • Strong understanding of mobile security principles, including device compliance, encryption, app protection, and threat mitigation
  • Ability to interpret and act on mobile security advisories from platform vendors and carriers
  • Knowledge of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) practices, including invoice review, cost optimization, and lifecycle management
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Education & Prior Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Advanced endpoint management experience (7+ years) with deep expertise in Microsoft Intune
  • Hands-on experience with mobile enrollment frameworks, including Apple Business Manager (DEP) and Android Enterprise
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, and Power BI to support automation, reporting, and operational insights
  • Experience supporting security, risk, audit, or incident response activities related to mobile devices and access
  • Experience managing enterprise telecom vendors, including service reviews and SLA accountability
  • Exposure to enterprise contract support, including hardware subsidies and international roaming considerations
