We are looking for a mobile developer to help in our next generation product development. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of React Native mobile application development in both iOS and Android as well as mobile development for both iOS and Android. You thrive working within a dynamic environment and excel at meeting delivery timelines while maintaining open lines of communication relating to the status of a given project and its risks and challenges.
What You'll Do- Work within a cross-functional team to deliver compelling products and services;
- Accurately estimate the time it takes to design, write, and test your project;
- Design, write, test, and deploy scalable and reusable code;
- Help shape our technical roadmap as we scale our services and build new products;
- Collaborate with functional areas to ensure integrity of the design;
- Maintain standards of security, reliability, performance, and quality;
- Participate in code reviews, attend regular team meetings, and apply software development best practices;
- Take ownership of your work and work autonomously and remotely.
Qualifications- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering degree;
- 5+ years of mobile software development experience;
- 3+ years of iOS and Android development experience with React Native;
- 2+ years of on device mobile camera and biometrics environments (you know what your doing and you understand the limitations of the mobileOS environments);
- Working knowledge of AWS, Google Firebase, TestLab;
- Coding for mobile environment;
- Experience integrating third party SDKs into apps;
- Application lifecycle management with both Apple App Store and Google Play store;
- Understanding of cross-platform design principles;
- Superior critical thinking, analytical, evaluation and problem solving skills;
- Self-directed and proactive, work collaboratively with team members and independently; thinks beyond the immediate problem;
- Willing to learn and master new technologies;
- Must have a valid passport and no issues travelling to other countries (dependent on government issued travel restrictions - Approximately 15% travel or less).
