Overview
The Integrated Planner/Scheduler is responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining the comprehensive master schedule for a multi-facility ground test complex. This role ensures alignment of test activities, facility availability, engineering deliverables, and operational milestone to support mission and program objectives. The position requires cross-functional coordination, schedule risk management, and strategic planning across multiple concurrent test campaigns.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to reflect program requirements, milestones, and dependencies. This includes consolidating schedule inputs from various teams to ensure accuracy and synchronization
- Identify, document, and integrate program requirements into the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and IMS to align with program objectives and cross-agency activities. This involves working with cross-functional teams to coordinate schedule integration between different schedules and the master schedule
- Provides time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to execution conflicts
- Develop and analyze “what-if” scenarios to assess the impact of potential changes and provide actionable recommendations
- Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments
- Perform schedule integrity checks as needed to ensure data informing decisions is accurate and up-to-date
- Generate and present schedule metrics and reports to program management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers and functional leads to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and leveled within the schedule
- Regularly communicate schedule status, risks, and opportunities to all project stakeholders
- Maintain project schedules, action trackers, and deliverables using project management and tracking tools
- It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field plus at minimum of at least 8 years of post degree experience
- Understanding/experience using Integrated Planning Theory
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network
- Due to Air Force Security requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, or similar tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage complex, dynamic schedules with numerous external dependencies
- Ability to focus on strategic planning beyond dynamic day-to-day pressures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present schedule status and risk assessments to technical and leadership audiences
- Must be a self-starter that thrives in a dynamic team environment willing to learn technical aspects of the role with which he/she is unfamiliar
- Must be very well organized and detail oriented
- AACE Planning and Scheduling Professional Certification or Project Management Professional Certification
