Full Job Description
Job Summary

The Mission Advisor is the account executive of the Autonomous Security Force. You own a territory of Chief Security Officers and security decision-makers, run working sessions instead of pitches, and architect complete ASF programs - licensed security agents, autonomous machines, and Mission Intelligence remote command - into one Force under one contract.

About the Role

The Mission Advisor is not a salesperson with a demo. You are the operator our clients meet first - the person who sits with a Chief Security Officer, understands what they are accountable for, and architects the right mix of machines, sensing, remote monitoring, and licensed security agents into one Force designed for their locations. You sell an operation, not a product. You own the account from first briefing to signed contract, then stay accountable as it goes live.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own a territory of Chief Security Officers and security decision-makers across enterprise, critical infrastructure, healthcare, education, transit, and government.
  • Run working sessions, not pitches: define the outcomes a client's security program must deliver - incidents, budget, quality standard - location by location.
  • Architect complete Autonomous Security Force programs: licensed security agents, autonomous machines, and Mission Intelligence remote command - one Force, one contract.
  • Manage complex, multi-site, multi-stakeholder sales cycles end to end - from prospecting through contract - with disciplined pipeline hygiene in our CRM.
  • Expand accounts over time: land with the right operational entry point, grow with machines and Mission Intelligence as trust is earned.
  • Represent Knightscope at industry events and client briefings as a credible peer to security leadership.

Required Qualifications
  • You are an operator. 5+ years selling complex, high-consideration services or solutions - physical security, managed services, contract security, facilities, or enterprise technology with a services component.
  • A track record of advising and selling to Chief Security Officers, security directors, or facilities leadership - and the operational credibility to hold that room.
  • Comfort with long cycles, multiple stakeholders, procurement, and contracts - and the discipline to work them without shortcuts.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across an assigned territory. Based in the United States.
  • Preferred: experience in contract security, guarding, remote monitoring, or public safety; existing relationships with security leadership in one or more target industries.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (DOE) + commission plan
  • Equity: Stock options
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off
  • Location Requirement: Full-time, field-based with extensive travel across assigned territory; United States.
