Full Job Description
AEEC is currently seeking performance driven Mid/Senior Level Engineers/Hydrogeologists in chemistry, process, environmental, geology, hydrogeology or similar disciplines with a strong work ethic in our Salt Lake City location.

Groundwater remediation, acid mine drainage treatment, water or wastewater treatment, hazardous waste management and/or environmental regulations knowledge/experience required. Must have the ability to work with a team, strong communication/writing skills and ability to work independently. Individuals must be responsible, diligent, results-oriented, motivated, and capable of management or technical expertise roles. Communication, technical report writing, and creating design skills critical. CAD skills beneficial.

BS or MS in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field required. PE or PG required.

Citizenship and background investigations: US citizenship is not required. Applicant must have valid working authorization. All applicants will be required to submit a background investigation application prior to beginning work and must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.

Physical Demands: While performing duties of the job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
