Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence solutions development, ideally using Microstrategy.
• Proficient in SQL development and optimization.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Expertise in creating dashboards and data visualizations according to best practices.
• Familiarity with SharePoint is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiar with Agile software development lifecycle methodology.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and end-users to gather and document business requirements.
• Design and develop standard reports and dashboards aligned with business needs.
• Maintain BI models to produce standard and ad hoc reports.
• Assist end-users with self-service reporting through a consultative approach.
• Develop BI standards to support overall business objectives.
• Work with business units to discover new data requirements and reporting strategies.
• Quickly identify and resolve data reporting issues.
• Perform quality assurance on new or modified reports.
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer to junior developers as needed.
• Take the lead on development projects when assigned.
