Summary:HII Mission Technologies is seeking a talented
Microsoft Power BI Developer to join our innovative data and analytics team! What You Will Do:• Primary focus on business intelligence and reporting technologies/methodologies
• Identify data to clean, transform, and load into data models
• Create data models, establish relationship cardinality and cross-filter direction, and build complex measures
• Visualize data models by creating reports and dashboards
• Assist in the delivery of quality solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) and related technologies
• Partner with OIG customers and OCIO technical team members to assist with requirements definitions, solution designs, technical architecture, and delivery
• Work collaboratively with team members including project managers, solution architects, and business analysts
What We're Looking For:- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Implement solutions using Microsoft Power BI tool suite and related technologies
• Proficient in developing complex Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) and M (Power) Queries
• Experience with developing interactive dashboards (parameters, actions, navigation) for ease of use
• Experience creating dataflows or datamarts
• Experience designing composite models
• Experience applying roles and Row Level Security (RLS) to reports, apps, and workspaces
• Experience with Report Builder and developing paginated reports
• Leverage database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business, financial, and operational analysis and/or reporting
• Develop high-performing, reliable, and scalable solutions
• Optimize performance on new and existing data models and clearly communicate technical details to business and management staff
• Perform data analysis to support and enhance OIG information management systems and services
• Experience with one or more data technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Server, etc.) and willingness to learn additional technologies to improve business intelligence
• Author and oversee design documents for approved projects
• Develop, publish, and schedule reports, dashboards, scorecards, data exploration, and visual analytics using existing and emerging tools
• Provide meaningful feedback and coaching to team members in the use of Microsoft Power BI and related technologies
• Provide insight and recommendations on new and emerging technologies and concepts to OCIO team members

Section III: Experience
• 4+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence and/or information management
• 2+ years of experience with data visualization and implementing high-value solutions; experience performing administrative activities across multi-environment infrastructures
• 2+ years of experience working in a client-facing technical role
• Expert knowledge of data management, business intelligence, and analytics concepts including:
o Extract, transform, load (ETL)
o Data warehousing, data marts, data stores, and cubes
o Data quality and profiling
o Data governance, data management, and metadata management
o Data visualization, dashboard design/implementation, reporting, self-service BI, data KPIs, and scorecards
o Predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive analytics
• Proficiency in one or more languages such as:
o SQL
o SAS
o R
o Python
Preferred Experience:- Demonstrated experience with medallion architecture, Databricks, and/or experience with sensitive law enforcement and case management data.
- Experience with Government software development policies and procedures • Experience integrating customized automated solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint and Dataverse with Power BI
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field OR possess a PL300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification or equivalent
