Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
  • Lead cross-functional program teams to successfully deliver product launches and production programs, ensuring achievement of timing, quality, cost, and business objectives.
  • Develop program plans, define team responsibilities, allocate resources, and track progress against key milestones and performance targets.
  • Manage customer expectations while providing regular program status updates, maintaining effective stakeholder communication, and leading program review meetings.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks using structured project management and quality tools, including FMEA, lessons learned, and corrective action processes.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, and suppliers to ensure flawless program execution from development through launch and series production.
  • Manage program budgets, capital expenditures, tooling, equipment suppliers, and change management activities to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements, company policies, customer specifications, audit requirements, and continuous improvement standards, including 5S and operational excellence initiatives.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:
  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalency in an Engineering discipline


WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
  • Five plus years prior managerial experience with the Automotive Stamping Industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of principles, theories and practices of Project Management.
  • Strong stamping tooling development knowledge from planning to launching.
  • Strong skills in equipment planning and installation for assembly equipment.
  • Knowledge regarding quality expectations, planning and implementation within new projects.
  • Strong skills regarding Automotive product launches.
  • Excellent product knowledge in Class-A and Class-C for the automotive industry.
  • Familiar with all quality related methods and tools such as but not limited to APQP, FMEA, etc.
  • Excellent customer relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong competency with working in teams or as individual unsupervised.
