Job Description

The Marketing Manager, Institutional Product Marketing owns execution of product and marketing campaigns spanning Derivatives, Data Vantage, Equities, and FX, targeted at institutional audiences. Reporting to the Director, Institutional Product Marketing, this is a senior, largely autonomous execution role: the Manager takes the Director's broader go-to-market strategy and turns it into concrete product campaigns for their audience, writing and producing core product marketing content directly, and making judgment calls on sequencing, messaging emphasis, and channel mix day to day.

This role requires fluency in derivatives and capital markets, enough to write credible product narrative and sales enablement content without heavy hand-holding from the Director, and to hold your own in conversations with product management and sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Product Campaign Strategy
  • Own product campaign strategy and planning for an assigned initiative, including timeline, channel mix, asset list, and sequencing, for both time-bound campaign bursts and always-on thematic programs.
  • Make judgment calls on how to blend Cboe's institutional offerings across lines of business (Derivatives, Data Vantage, Equities, and FX) within a given product campaign.
  • Manage campaign and program budget within the allocation set by the Director.

Content Creation & Sales Enablement
  • Write and produce core product marketing content directly, including sales enablement materials, campaign narrative, and Derivatives/Data Vantage product content, to a standard that needs light, not heavy, editing from the Director.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Programs to feed product campaign narrative into flagship content and events (e.g., RMC, derivatives workshops) without duplicating ownership of those vehicles.
  • Coordinate with EU and APAC regional marketing to hand off global campaign assets for localization.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with regional marketing leads and relevant center of excellence (COE) teams (communications, PR, paid and advertising) to execute campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies as needed for campaign execution.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Own product campaign performance tracking and reporting (engagement, pipeline influence, adoption metrics), and use that data to adjust campaign strategy, not just report it upward.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years in marketing, with meaningful product marketing or campaign leadership experience in financial services, capital markets, or a related B2B/institutional context.
  • Working familiarity with derivatives and institutional financial services, able to write credible, accurate product narrative without heavy subject-matter hand-holding.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and produce polished product marketing and sales enablement content directly, not just coordinate its production.
  • Strong project management skills; comfortable owning multiple concurrent campaigns and programs across audience segments with significant autonomy.
  • Experience collaborating with regional/field marketing and content teams.
  • Comfort operating in a regulated environment with compliance and legal review.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience marketing derivatives, options, or market data products.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, sales enablement, and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Highspot, Seismic).
  • Experience executing global-to-local campaigns across multiple regions.
