The impact you'll makeDirects, leads, and manages the technical activities and lab operations for the Lam Customer Support Business Group (CSBG) process engineering teams.
What you'll doManager/Leadership- Manages the lab process activities in support of customer process demonstrations as well as internal engineering development.
- Manages a team of process specialists to execute on-tool wafer based testing and metrology.
- Coordinates assignments, manages priorities and deliverables for team.
- Develops methodology and ensures deliverables consistently meet high standard for customer facing presentations.
- Develops process engineering capability within team.
- Participates in cross BU initiatives at Lam as CSBG representative.
- Ensures program approach supports CSBG lab needs and practices.
Technical Demo Program Management- Manage cross-functional team to schedule and plan customer process demonstrations.
- Communicate with Account Team management and internal executives to align priorities for CSBG demo team.
- Manage database (quickbase) of demo schedules, owners, and priorities.
- Align deliverables from technical development and customer facing teams to ensure spec targets are agreed to and met.
- Drive actions among team members during planning and execution of demos.
- Document high level trends/metrics associated with demo completion and present to executive audience.
Who we're looking for- Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of supervisory experience or 12 years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, chemical engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of semiconductor process/product engineering experience (dry etch preferred).
Preferred qualifications- Experience in wafer preparation and metrology techniques (thin film, CD-SEM, X-SEM).
- In-depth understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs and deadlines.
- Excellent people skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.
- Collaboration/matrix environment mindset.
- Quickbase application development experience.
Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

SalaryCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $125,000.00 - $270,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
