Qualifications

• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• 4+ years in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction.
• 3+ years in Mission Critical Construction, Hospital Construction, or MEP Project Management roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and team-building skills.
• Proficient in coordinating and scheduling MEP activities.
• Problem-solving aptitude and independent work capability.
• Motivated self-starter with computer and software proficiency.
• Experience in preconstruction and equipment procurement.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bidding for mechanical and electrical trades.
• Manage the equipment procurement process efficiently.
• Develop a critical path schedule for MEP activities.
• Track and coordinate construction and startup activities effectively.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries to ensure project timelines are met.
• Review mechanical and electrical submittals for compliance.
• Organize and lead project meetings focused on critical MEP tasks.
• Develop Methods of Procedure (MOP) for work in active environments.
• Resolve conflicts between subcontractors and the design team on MEP issues.
• Oversee quality control processes for MEP construction.
• Manage startup and pre-testing of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Support third-party commissioning activities and documentation.
