Mental Health Therapist for our Brooklyn, NY Clinic. Onsite supervision for limited permits is available.
What You Will Work On- Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients
- Provide continuous, regular support as patients navigate recovery, both in person and occasionally virtually
- Deliver evidence-based care in a holistic, wrap-around care model
- Collaborate with patient care teams and behavioral health providers to ensure an integrated, cohesive approach to care
- Address medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of social determinants of health
- Provide consultation to therapists on the treatment team, including licensed therapists and trainees; assist with program development
What You'll Have- Active license in good standing as an Independent or Associate-level Psychologist, Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW), Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT or AMFT), or Counselor (LMHC or LMHC-A) in the state of NY; onsite supervision for limited permits available for Associate-level providers
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment and establishes positive relationships with other medical professionals
- Experience and interest in working with adults and at least 1 year of experience working with patients with severe mental illness
- Experience in evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, or MI
- Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism
- Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards
- Technologically savvy, with the ability to learn and navigate new tools and technologies
- Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong listening skills and excellent verbal communication capabilities

Compensation & BenefitsAmae Health is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base salary range for this role (full-time schedule) is based on licensure level:
- Associate level: $75,000-$90,000, based on hours
- Licensed level: $90,000-$115,000, based on experience
