In this role, you will work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff in a collaborative and supportive environment focused on providing exceptional care to patients of all ages.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.

  • Currently licensed (or eligible) in the state of South Carolina as a Physician Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or as a Nurse Practitioner with the SC Board of Nursing.

  • Requires certification inBLS

  • APRN or PA mustmaintainlicenses, certifications, CNEs/CMEs, etc. as required by applicable policies and state law put this under required qualification

  • DHEC and DEA license

PositionHighlights:

  • Monday Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am 12pm

  • Outpatient

  • Evaluates and treatson the basis ofhistory, physical examination,radiological, laboratory, and other diagnostic test resultspursuant tothe practice agreement or scope of practice guideline

  • Initiates referrals to other health care provides, and/or consults with the attending physician or the collaborating physician

  • Documents and bills for direct care provided

  • Potential to precept students at MUSC enrolled as an advanced practice provider student; andfacilitatesthe learning of other new team members
