  • Ensure patient care optimizes safety and minimizes healthcare errors.

Full Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Medical Imager/X-ray/CT is:
  • Prep and screen the patient appropriately for the imaging procedure.
  • Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.
  • Explain and perform radiologic procedure with consideration to the level of understanding and age appropriateness for the patient.
  • Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
  • Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.


The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Currently Registered - Radiography, and CT
  • A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Current compliance with continuing education credit requirements
  • Current BCLS certification
  • 2 years experienced preferred


Compensation:

Min: $30.70

Max: $47.58
