Opportunity Overview

Penn Medicine is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Medical Director to lead our respected Urgent Care clinic located in Doylestown, PA. The Medical Director will provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership, and will partner closely with hospital and health system leadership to align departmental goals with Penn Medicine's overarching mission and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical experience, strategic insight, and a passion for fostering collaboration and clinical excellence.

The Role

As the clinical and administrative leader for Penn Urgent Care Doylestown, the Medical Director will have the following accountabilities:

Qualifications

  • Board certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine with an advanced degree in clinical medicine (MD, MD PhD, DO)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex healthcare organization
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence in specialty and a track record of a positive working relationship with providers and staff
  • Effective communication skills and proven ability to collaborate and lead a team
  • Outstanding relationship building skills and ability to hold a team accountable
