Schedule: Full-Time (75% Clinical /25% Administrative)
Lead Three Specialty Hospitals. Collaborate Across an Entire Referral Campus.
Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a visionary Specialty Medical Director to lead one of the region's most respected specialty and emergency veterinary campuses. This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic medical leadership across Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology (AVIM&O), Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists (CVSS), and Pet+ER Emergency & Critical Care (Pet+ER), all part of the Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) network.
This role provides leadership for AVIM&O, CVSS, and Pet+ER while offering daily collaboration with the cardiology, neurology and ophthalmology specialty partners located within the Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center campus. While not all practices are Ethos-affiliated, together they create one of the most comprehensive specialty veterinary communities in the region.
As Medical Director, you'll serve as both a clinical leader and strategic partner, balancing specialty practice with meaningful leadership responsibilities that support hospital growth, mentorship, and medical excellence.
In this role, you'll serve as the medical subject matter expert for the campus, guiding medical standards, supporting clinicians through complex cases, strengthening referral relationships, and helping drive strategic initiatives that support long-term growth and innovation. Just as importantly, you'll foster a positive, professional, and supportive culture where team members feel empowered to learn, grow, and do their best work.
If you're energized by the opportunity to influence hospital strategy, mentor exceptional clinicians, and help shape the future of specialty veterinary medicine, we'd love to talk with you.
