About the job you're considering

We are seeking an experienced engineer to develop methodologies for characterizing the mechanical and thermal performance of battery materials, components, and cells.

Your role
  • Develop test methodologies to characterize mechanical and thermal performance of battery materials, components, and cells
  • Design test protocols and standards for battery-level performance evaluation
  • Work with 3rd party labs to address testing gaps and bring up to testing methods
  • Collaborate with testing technicians to ensure proper execution of test plans
  • Analyze and report on test results to inform engineering decisions'


Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline OR University degree in a technical, business, or project management-related field. OR MS in Mechanical Eng or related with 3 years' experience or BS with 5+ years
  • Demonstrated experience developing methodologies for mechanical and thermal characterization of battery materials/components/cells
  • Strong background in battery testing standards and best practices.


The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 68,911 - 161,544

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
