As a Mechanical Project Manager, you'll lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical scopes while partnering closely with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and our field teams. You'll thrive in this role if you're comfortable managing budgets and schedules, navigating mechanical coordination and procurement, and taking ownership of issues before they become problems. Experience with large-scale commercial, industrial, semiconductor, mission-critical, or advanced manufacturing projects is highly valued.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAYProject Leadership & Coordination- Lead mechanical scopes from preconstruction through project closeout, keeping safety, quality, schedule, and budget at the forefront.
- Partner with superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and owners to coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and other building scopes.
- Lead project meetings, resolve field and coordination issues, and maintain clear communication across project stakeholders.
Mechanical Construction & Delivery- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, and subcontractor scopes for constructability, coordination, and completeness.
- Manage mechanical subcontractors and vendors through procurement, installation, startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
- Coordinate long-lead mechanical equipment and materials to keep procurement aligned with the project schedule.
Cost, Schedule & Risk- Track mechanical commitments, costs, change orders, and forecasts while identifying potential cost and schedule impacts early.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, ASIs, CCDs, and change management for mechanical scopes, ensuring timely resolution.
- Monitor critical-path activities and proactively develop solutions to keep mechanical work moving.
YOU'RE READY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE- A bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
- 8+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, advanced manufacturing, or similarly complex construction environments.
- 5+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects or significant mechanical scopes.
- Experience managing mechanical subcontractors, budgets, schedules, procurement, change management, and project coordination.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction practices and the ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, specifications, equipment schedules, and construction documents.
- Experience with HVAC, piping, process piping, plumbing, controls, or major mechanical equipment installation.
- Semiconductor, cleanroom, data center, or advanced manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license.
