Full Job Description
  • Our Continuous Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Engineering Manager to lead our Value Engineering team within the Semiconductor Test Division. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site environment.
  • This position will report to a Senior Engineering Manager in our North Reading, MA facility.
  • Accountable for department budgets, personnel administration, project staffing, prioritization, salary reviews, training, individual career development, and recruitment
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers to identify and execute cost down opportunities across the organization
  • Develop and execute the value engineering project roadmap aligned with our business cost targets
  • Provide technical guidance, lessons learned, oversight, support and leadership to our engineering design staff
  • Establish and report on KPIs and cost reduction performance to senior management
  • Drive a culture of cost awareness and cost down mindset across engineering teams

  • Proven ability to manage third party design resources from suppliers or contract engineering services
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong technical fluency across relevant technology domains (e.g., hardware, software, thermal, mechanical)
  • Ability to manage, lead, and work with multi-site teams
  • A complete understanding of the development process of electro-mechanical products is required


We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $145,500 - $232,900. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
