You're the key liaison, approving designs, mentoring engineers, and building strong client relationships. Your leadership fosters growth, solves technical challenges, and ensures your unit thrives, delivering outstanding results and advancing both individual and company success.
- Leadership & Motivation: Lead teams with a positive attitude to achieve project goals aligned with ENERCON's excellence standards
- Collaboration & Coordination: Interface with clients to ensure quality and deadlines on exciting design projects
- Communication: Lead internal mechanical engineering and delegate project roles
- Design & Estimating: Prepare design studies, scopes, and engineering estimates
- Procurement & Specifications: Guide mechanical system procurement specs, evaluate bids, and select equipment
- Technical Expertise: Guide mechanical design and calculations to solve complex technical problems
- Field Engagement: Travel for walkdowns, field installations, and start-up
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in design engineering in power generation, nuclear power or heavy industrial with preference for 2 of those years of experience as a leader
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and technical team needs, typically a few days
- Ability to motivate the team and achieve goals through a positive attitude and effective leadership style
- Proven experience with a high level of decision making, directing and overseeing routine and advanced technical work performed by others
- Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant
- Must be a US Citizen
Compensation RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
