MECHANICAL ENGINEER!The Role:We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the development of frame, body, and cabin components for electric forklifts. What You'll Be Doing:- Design, develop, and release components for new forklift models and product options.
- Engineer a wide variety of parts, including welded steel assemblies, metal castings, plastic and rubber components, multi-part assemblies, and electrical components.
- Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and study files using Creo; manage and maintain design data within PDM systems.
- Ensure high-quality drawings by clearly defining design intent, materials, dimensions, tolerances, quality control characteristics, and product requirements.
- Validate component designs using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to ensure structural integrity and performance.
- Define system parameters and design solutions that meet performance, durability, and reliability requirements.
- Participate in regular design reviews to maintain engineering standards and promote effective communication across the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (manufacturing, quality, purchasing, testing, and supply chain) to ensure designs meet cost, quality, manufacturability, and delivery targets.
- Partner with the testing organization to define test plans, criteria, and pass/fail requirements for prototype and validation testing.
- Develop and maintain simultaneous engineering documentation, including DFMEAs, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering change orders/instructions.
- Plan, manage, and execute component development schedules to ensure alignment with overall project timelines and milestones.
- Act as the design lead on a project with minimal direction.
What We're Looking For:- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in Product Design/Development, preferably in New Product Development
- 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and PDM system experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical ability.
- Proficient communication and documentation skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-cultural teams.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:Salary - $94,020 - $120,537 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
