Mechanical Engineer to join our team in
Englewood, Colorado, partnering with a recognized leader in the aviation and aerospace industry.

You'll help research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy, and improve cutting-edge products and systems ranging from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to highly integrated aircraft and space exploration technologies.
What You'll Do As a Mechanical Engineer III, you'll play an important role in the design and development of complex mechanical structures, products, and systems throughout the product lifecycle.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Conceptualizing, designing, and developing complex mechanical structures and systems
- Supporting new product and process development throughout the complete product lifecycle
- Applying established engineering principles and practices to solve complex technical challenges
- Utilizing Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to support design and development activities
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and development teams
- Applying mechanical design principles such as parametric design, model-based definition, material and hardware selection, manufacturing, and production processes
- Applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5
- Supporting engineering simulations and analyses, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and thermal analysis
Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Typically 6+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience using Computer-Aided Engineering tools
- Experience working within multidisciplinary design and development teams
- Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
Preferred Qualifications We're especially interested in candidates with experience in:
- Applying and interpreting GD&T per ASME Y14.5
- Engineering simulation and analysis
- Finite Element structural Analysis (FEA)
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Thermal analysis
- Aerospace and defense environments
- Industry-standard mechanical design principles
- Parametric design and model-based definition
- Material and hardware selection
- Manufacturing and production processes
Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position may involve frequently walking, sitting, standing, climbing stairs or steps, and performing repetitive hand, arm, and finger movements requiring hand and finger dexterity. The role may occasionally require lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.
Exposure to outdoor elements, fumes or hazardous materials, and loud noise is rare.
